Posted February 14th, 2007 Last Entry, Baby's on Her Way!

Happy Valentine's Day! This may be my last entry. I want to capture every last moment and feeling. I think I must be nesting, though. I have such an urge to get everything done asap. I'm sure I'm driving everyone around my nuts, especially Charlie. He's been a saint. I'm so blessed. We're going to be parents! Wow! We can't wait!

Posted November 7th, 2006 Starting to Get Really Nervous

In the beginning I felt so ready for this baby. Now I'm questioning everything and worrying about everything. Will I be a good mom? How will we know what to do when the baby cries, etc? Are we ready for this? I'm not so sure anymore. Don't get me wrong, I'm still excited. I'm just getting more and more nervous as time ticks on. I thought this was supposed to get easier...

Posted August 17th, 2006 4 Months, Off to Italy...

We've planned a trip to Italy. We figure it may be the last time we ever get away for a long while, and we had such an amazing time there during our semester abroad. I'm so nervous about flying, but once we're there we're going to have a great time. Also, I can't wait for the food. Yum! I'm finally starting to really get an appetite again. It's nice because I felt ill there for a little while. Also, I've got more energy now. It's perfect timing for the trip. The baby was doing really well at our last doctor appointment. I never thought I would so look forward to going to the doctor. But it's so much fun getting to see or hear the baby. More to come, once we're back from Italy....

Posted July 26th, 2006 First Entry, First Ultrasound

We went for the first prenatal visit today and we got the first ultrasound photos! So exciting! We saw the head, heart, little arms and legs. The baby is doing well, and so am I. I still have very few symptoms. I'm waiting for them to start any moment, but really hoping they won't. Our next doctor appt is at 16 wks. It feels like that's SO far from now. At least we have our new photos to keep us smiling until we go see the doctor again. Also, we've finally told everyone our big news. Everyone is very excited for us. It''s so nice to be able to share our excitement with close friends and family! Everyone's been so supportive.
